Venue Information
PyConZA 2016 will take place at The River Club in Observatory on the 6th and 7th October. The River Club is located near Hartleyvale Stadium on Liesbeek Parkway, after turning right onto Observatory Road on the way to the Observatory and turning left.
One of Observatory’s landmark buildings, The River Club has been a gracious host since 1939 for conferences, restaurant goers, and avid golfers. Under new and energetic owners, the grand dame on the banks of The Liesbeek River has enjoyed an extensive makeover and is ready to welcome a new generation of visitors for work and play. It has been fitted with state of the art audiovisual and communication technology, on-site catering, and upgraded WiFi.

There will also be PyConZA Sprints, Software Carpentry (SWC), and a DjangoGirls event happening around the conference, with venue and exact dates still to be decided.
